Civic manufactures

In the 19th century several Scottish iron foundries became well-known for producing standardised objects, particularly civic fountains and bandstands.

This Wikimedia Commons page utilises Listeria and Wikidata to show a table of those for which a specific Wikidata item is associated with a manufacturer.

The view is very incomplete. It is useful that Scottish Listed Buildings were imported to Wikidata but items commissioned and still located further afield (England, Ireland, South America, Australia) are missing because they lack a specific Wikidata footprint.

However, clicking on the manufacturer names in the item rows shows that Commons has many more images of items which are categorised but not transposed to Wikidata items in their own right.
