Microblog migrations

At the start of 2024 I went looking for Scottish organisations with Mastodon accounts which already were or could be stored on their Wikidata record and found only 14:

Surgeons' Hall Museum, Canongate Books, Scottish Poetry Library, Bella Caledonia, Cloud Security Alliance, Glasgow Womens Library, Strathclyde U, Glasgow U, Association for Scottish Literature, The Ferret, Pink Peacock, Aberdeen U, Code the City, Strathnaver Museum.

Repeating this now gives 18:

Association for Scottish Literature, Bella Caledonia, Canongate Books, Cloud Security Alliance, Code The City, Glasgow Women's Library, Pink Peacock, Scottish Green Party, Scottish Poetry Library, Software Sustainability Institute, Strathnaver Museum, Surgeons' Hall Museums, The Ferret, Undiscovered Scotland, University of Aberdeen, University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, Urban Studies Foundation.

There are others, such as Common Weal whose Mastodon account could be added to Wikidata, but that one hasn't really been operative.

Aside from the Scottish Green Party, I am not seeing any that have adopted Bluesky. Meanwhile there are over 500 with X/Twitter accounts: museums, universities, sports clubs, media, transport hubs. It looks like inertia rules, without much "hygiene" consideration of need to change.
